Set off on C25K W5D2 after work this evening.
about 5 minutes into the first run, I was kind of waiting for the voice to come to say “walk”. It didn’t come. It was 8 mins run, 5 mins walk, 8 mins run 😮
I managed the 8 minutes. and the 5 walk, and 7 the second turn! not bad because I wasn’t mentally ready for that!
Stats for todays run:
Time: 32m 00s
Cal Burned: 445 (I know its not accurate but it gives it to me!)
No watches, No c25k, just jogging!
5k, 5 walks, but good (for me) pace! ‘Shell was a bit bored, but I had warned her! Oh and my gps got messed up :'( so it only thought we did 4.5km and drew a line straight to home from there.

So with the disaster of a cycle this morning, I decided it was time to attack W4D3. And it turns out the treadmill is a lot easier. Mainly due to the fact that it helps you pace yourself I think. I’m going to get a GoPro and record my running and see what way I land on my feet on the treadmill and compare it to the road.
My jog’s are at 6min /km (30 min 5k) but in the last 5 minute stint before cooldown I started pushing it a bit. 6m/km for the first min, 5:45/km for the next min, 5:30/km for the next min, 5:15/km for the next, and 5:00/km for the last one.
It was a push but I made it! was glad to hit that cooldown!

So I went for a brisk walk at lunch, my legs were just generally sore from the last few days, 2 weights sessions day after day with weights, and c25k w4d2 victory are after leaving my legs in a state. so just went for a walk to loosen them out!

WHYYYYYYYYYYYY can’t I pass this… Going to try a different training session tomorrow, a 1,2,3,4,5,4,3,2,1 minute session. Run on the odd numbers and walk the evens. See how that goes.
